PVC is a high strength white, brittle solid thermoplastic that is lightweight, durable, low cost, and easy to process. PVC is the world's third most widely produced synthetic polymer (after polyethylene and polypropylene) and comes in two basic forms: rigid and flexible.
The rigid form is used in construction for pipe and profile applications such as doors and windows, plastic bottles, non-food packaging, and plastic cards. The flexible form is used in plumbing, electrical cable insulation, imitation leather, flooring, and signage.
Contains no plasticizer, known as rigid PVC or RPVC. Used for pipes and fittings transporting drinking water and wastewater. Easy to handle, lightweight, affordable, durable, and 100% recyclable due to the absence of plasticizer.
High durability, corrosion resistant, 100% recyclable, excellent chemical resistance, low cost
| Pipes & Fittings | Drinking water pipelines, wastewater systems, drainage, sewerage |
| Profiles | Window frames, door profiles, conservatories, atria |
Resin Code 3
When PVC undergoes the orientation process, unplasticized PVC is turned into a layered structure which makes it more corrosion resistant. Its hydraulic capacity and durability are high, making it suitable for pressure pipes for irrigation, drinking water, and sewer pumping mains.
Higher corrosion resistance, excellent hydraulic capacity, enhanced durability, suitable for high-pressure applications
| Pressure Pipes | Irrigation systems, drinking water mains, sewer pumping mains |
Resin Code 3
Manufactured for the transportation of drinking water with excellent corrosion resistant properties. The chlorination process allows it to withstand a broader range of temperatures than standard PVC. Mostly utilized in residential and commercial construction.
Excellent temperature resistance, high durability, good dielectric strength, broad operating temperature range
| Hot & Cold Water | Residential and commercial hot/cold water plumbing systems |
| Industrial Piping | Chemical processing, industrial liquid handling, fire sprinkler systems |
